On the 70th anniversary of the State of Israel, we bow our heads in memory of those who fell in Israel's wars and share with the sorrow of the families who lost their dearest ones.
This is an important milestone for us to establish the Center for the Yom Kippur War.
We hope that by the 75th State anniversary which will also be the 50th anniversary of the Yom Kippur War, we will be able to establish the center, which aims to impart the history and heritage of the war.
In order to realize this important goal, we need each and every one of you. Tell your family and friends about us, and suggest that they sign up for the association and share our messages. .
Together we will establish the center and achieve this important goal.
During the three months since its establishment, the Association has fulfilled several important goals:
The Goal - to "Instill the history and heritage of the Yom Kippur War to future generations, to honor and value its fighters, to commemorate the fallen, to honor and value the bereaved families, and to serve as a hosting institution for further comprehensive and important research on the war and its lessons."
- The Association was duly registered (RA 580658086).Appointed Functionaries - appointed committees and appointed functionaries in various fields.
Expanding the circle of friends and supporters - The association has over 600 members to-date. We hope to grow and expand in order to convince the public and decision makers of the need to establish the Center.
Center Location – Discussions are underway with a number of local municipalities who have expressed a desire to establish the center within their municipal area, and the possibility of a joint venture with the Ministry of Defense is being examined.
Communication - We have launched a dedicated website - http://www.kippur-center.org/, which contains information about the association, and enables supporters to contribute to the realization of its goals.
To expand the site, we need material assistance: photos, documents, and other relevant war-related information that can be published. Please Email to: email@example.com
Happy Independence Day,
